I've always loved
creating art.
I have been a hairstylist for over 30 years, and in 2004 I opened Lee Nannette’s hair salon in downtown Annapolis. But a few years ago, I discovered my true passion—painting furniture.
I love transforming an unwanted or unused piece of furniture into a work of art that fits in your home and gives you joy. I love working with different colors and textures, and I especially enjoy it when a client allows me to be creative. Since I began painting furniture, I believe my artistic ability blossomed. To be able to take an unwanted, outdated piece of furniture and turn it into a piece of art honestly just excites me.
I use a wide variety of products in my work, but Dixie Belle paint is my go-to. I also work with Annie Slone, General Finishes, Sherwin Williams, and Retique It. I also use a wide variety of materials to incorporate texture and patina into my work—it breathes new life into furniture that may otherwise be discarded.
I work with all kinds of furniture and am happy to discuss custom requests. To learn more about my work, inquire about a piece, or request a commission, please get in touch.
I look forward to bringing your visions to life!
